PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator which is easy to modify or adjust a displacement amount and capable of improving mass productivity with reduced manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: The piezoelectric actuator includes: an annular-shaped wave ring 1 having bent portions 2, 3, i.e. a bent portion 2 convex upward in a circumferential direction and a bent portion 3 convex downward, formed to alternately appear in a corrugated manner; and a piezoelectric element 4 disposed on the curved portions 2, 3 of the wave ring 1. The bent portions 2, 3 is bent to become flat by the expansion of the piezoelectric element 4 and to be bent greater by the contraction of the piezoelectric element 4, and a thrust output direction is set to be an axial direction of the wave ring 1. |
