<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a performance validation test of a surface coating material of an RC structure, which only requires a small-scale device and a simple test, and a small-scale device therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for a performance validation test of a surface coating material of an RC structure, an electrolytic corrosion test of reinforcement 12 of an RC structural specimen 11 is conducted by using a strain gauge 16 corresponding to a surface of the RC structural specimen 11 and a data logger 17 connected to the strain gauge 16. The degree of resistance to corrosion of the reinforcement 12 due to a surface coating material 14 of the RC structural specimen 11 is tested on the basis of the electrolytic corrosion test, so that long-term deterioration of the RC structural specimen 11 with the surface coating material 14 and progress of the deterioration are predicted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
