<p>An absorbent sheet adapted to inhibit urine from diffusing in a portion of the sheet laid on the floor. The sheet (1) includes a liquid-permeable topsheet (20), a liquid-impermeable backsheet (30) and a liquid-absorbent structure (40) interposed between the top- and backsheets (20, 30). In the sheet (1), the topsheet (20) faces itself and is bonded to itself by a joining means (50) extending in a transverse direction so as to define a fold edge (51) extending in a transverse direction. The absorbent structure (40) includes a first absorbent section (41) extending between a front end edge (40a) and the fold edge (51), a second absorbent section (42) extending between the fold edge (51) and the joining means (50) and a third absorbent section (43) extending between the joining means (50) and a rear end edge (40b). Outboard of the third absorbent section (43) of the sheet (1) in the longitudinal direction, a non-absorbent region (47) in which the absorbent structure is not present is formed. A portion of the backsheet (30) of the sheet (1) within the non-absorbent region (47) is attached to a wall (71) by attachments.</p> |
