A busbar comprises a length of electrically conductive material 2 having dimensionally invariant (ie constant width) solder material 3 secured along at least part of its length. The solder may be added as a solid or as a paste, and may be secured by heating. Alternatively it can be added by a wheel (70, Fig 7) rotating in a bath of molten solder. The wheel has inclined shoulders (74, Fig 6B). The busbar may be used in a heated vehicle windscreen. |
