<p>The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for activating and controlling a pointer of a touch-screen display and, more particularly, to a method and an apparatus for activating and controlling a pointer of a touch-screen display which operate a pointer of an additional display by controlling the pointer in a touch-screen display and executes a command for an object by using the pointer. The method for activating and controlling a pointer of a touch-screen display includes the steps of: detecting a first input with respect to a hot-zone on a touch-screen display; activating the pointer in response to the first input; detecting a second input for the pointer; and controlling the pointer based on the second input. The present invention intuitively activates and controls a pointer in a touch-screen display, operates a pointer in an additional display by controlling the pointer in the touch-screen display, and executes a command with respect to an object by using the pointer.</p> |
