<p>The present invention relates to a novel method for manufacturing 5-aminolevulinic acid or 5-aminolevulinic acid salt; and to use of 5-aminolevulinic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for treating skin diseases. The method for synthesizing 5-aminolevulinic acid or 5-aminolevulinic acid salt according to the present invention has a much higher synthesis yield rate than existing known synthesis methods, does not cause a trouble when the product remains as the method does not use halogen intermediates such as heavy metals, chlorine and boron, and is much more environmentally-friendly as a water-soluble solvent is used as a solvent instead of an organic solvent. A composition for treating or alleviating skin diseases including the 5-aminolevulinic acid or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof according to the present invention as an effective component can be used usefully in developing cures for skin diseases, specifically intractable diseases such as psoriasis as the composition has excellent treating effects by being applied to the regions of skin diseases in the shape of lotion or gel.</p> |
