<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system in which an effect of heat generated in a light source inflicting on components such as a storage battery and an electronic circuit or the like housed in the system body is reduced, and an operation failure and an early deterioration can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: A recessed portion 21 is formed in a reflection plate 2 covering a front side 11 of the body 1 and an LED substrate 52 is arranged at the bottom face 210 of the recessed portion 21 through a heat radiation sheet 51. The recessed portion 21 is formed so that the bottom face 210 may be separated from the components such as the storage battery 3 or the like housed in the body 1.
