<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning filter unit in which filter replacement work is simple with a low risk of contaminating an external and a simple structure, while the maintenance cost of the unit including the manufacturing cost and the discarding cost is low, and safety can be easily checked by carrying out the integrity inspection by a scan test. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaning filter unit includes a rectangular cylindrical body 11 having a first wall part provided with an air introduction port 14 for introducing air, and a second wall part which is formed to cross the first wall part and provided with an air discharging port 13 for discharging the introduced air, and further includes a filter member 12 which is provided to the cylindrical body to filter the introduced air.
