<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifying device that purifies water by enhancing dissolved oxygen concentration in the water of deteriorated quality in a river, a pond and a discharge tank in a sewage treatment facility, the water purifying device having a compact structure, ease of maintenance, and a lower cost.SOLUTION: A water purifying device comprises a Roots pump 5 driven by a first motor 3 and an agitation tank 25 equipped with a discharge port 29 connected to the discharge side of the pump 5. The pump 5 is equipped with a suction pipe 18 through which water of deteriorated quality is pumped up and an air-introducing part 12 at a suitable location of the suction side. The agitation tank 25 is equipped with at least one disk type brush 45 therein attached detachably to a rotation shaft 43 of a second motor 40. The water pumped up by driving the Roots pump 5 is mixed with air introduced from the air-introducing part 12 and sent under pressure into the agitation tank 25. The water is further mixed with air using the rotating brush 45 in the agitation tank 25 so as to cause the water containing air bubbles made finer to be discharged from the discharge port 29 into water.</p> |
