A steering bushing is proposed for a steering column (2) which is functionally connected to a steering gear (6) through an opening (4) in a driver's cab floor (5). For this purpose, a covering plate (8) which is positionally stable in relation to a tiltable driver's cab (1) and has a bushing (8.1) for the steering column (3) is arranged below the opening (4) as part of a steering column protector (20). The steering column protector (20) consists of the covering plate (8) which downwardly closes the opening (4), is positionally stable in relation to the driver's cab floor (5) and has a steering column bushing (8.1), a first expansion bellows (12), which, as seen from above, is drawn or arranged over the entire opening (4) around the steering column (3), and a second expansion bellows (13) which is arranged below the first expansion bellows (12) in a manner projecting into the opening (4) and is provided on the covering plate (8) in a manner sealing the bushing (8.1). |
