<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polymer particles having thermal properties in which the polymer particles can be appropriately fused by mechanical external force and heat, particularly, the polymer particles suitable for an external additive for an electrophotographic toner and an carrier coat additive which are used for electrostatic charge phenomena. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer particle includes a polymer derived from a polymerizable monomer which contains 50-97 wt.% of a methacrylate monomer and 3-50 wt.% of an asymmetry polyvinyl monomer having two or more vinyl groups different in reactivity. The polymer particles have an average particle size of 0.05-1.0μm, a gel fraction of 60% or more, and a storage modulus G' at 160°C of 3×10<SP POS="POST">4</SP>-2×10<SP POS="POST">6</SP>Pa or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
