<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that satisfies a requested time response regulation by making it possible to return a response signal before data demodulation. <P>SOLUTION: A radio AP 200 receives a radio data packet from a radio terminal 100 by a radio frequency unit 201, demodulates the header part of the received packet by a header demodulation unit 202, and if the destination address has been the address of its own station, generates a response signal by designating the transmission source address as a destination address by a response signal generation unit 203.
