A two-wheeled vehicle, e.g. a pedal-assisted motorcycle, comprises a front wheel fork 26, 27 secured to a shaft extending parallel to and rearwardly spaced from the handlebar shaft 16 (carried in the steering head 15), and linked thereto for concurrent rotation therewith by rods 24 pivoted to a cross-piece 22 on the shaft 16. The handlebars comprise two braces 17 pivoted about inclined axes to the shaft 16 so that they may be swung rearwardly and inwardly and downwardly. The rods 24 may be non-parallel. Levers 29 are pivoted to the front fork parts 27 and are connected to tension springs in the parts 27. The rear fork structure 34 serves as a parcel grid and has feet 36 which support the up-ended vehicle. A wheeled stand 40 is operable by a knob 42. The pedals 20 are hinged to the cranks 21. A tool box 47 is provided. In a modification, a carrying handle is provided, and the rear fork structure is formed by a laterally-spaced pair of shaped tubes extending from front to rear of the member 10 which also forms the fuel tank. The engine is protected by wire netting. The headlamp is secured to the front mudguard. |
