<p>A retransmission control method, a communications system, and a device are disclosed. The retransmission control method includes: sending, by a media access control entity of a base station, a media access control protocol data unit to a terminal in a hybrid automatic repeat request process, where content of the media access control protocol data unit includes a handover command message; receiving, by the media access control entity of the base station, a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgment message, which is sent by the terminal in a hybrid automatic repeat request process; and if the hybrid automatic repeat request process in which the media access control entity of the base station sends the media access control protocol data unit is the same as the hybrid automatic repeat request process in which the terminal sends the hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgment message, notifying a radio link control entity of the base station of stopping sending the handover command message. In this way, air interface resources can be saved.</p> |
