<p>An audiovisual equipment protection device comprises at least one panel 10 capable of flexibly forming an elongate barrier/screen 1 when secured to a structure (such as a TV cabinet/unit/stand), said barrier in use being arranged to provide protection for at least one side of an item of audiovisual equipment 200 (such as a TV, DVD player etc.). The panel or panels allow the passage of electromagnetic radiation through them and the barrier includes a peripheral edge comprising a top edge, bottom edge and two side edges where the top edge includes an attachment mechanism 2 and at least the bottom edge 4 includes a fastening means 3. In a second embodiment the device comprises a plurality of panels flexibly connected to one another (for example using hinges 7) so as to form an elongate barrier in use, said barrier being arranged in use to protect at least three sides of an item of audiovisual equipment and where the panels allow the passage of electromagnetic radiation through them.</p> |
