<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front body of a vehicle, which can efficiently transmit a load, input from the side ahead of the vehicle body, to a cowl box via a damper housing. <P>SOLUTION: The front body 10 of the vehicle includes the cowl box 15 which is provided in a dashboard lower 14. The cowl box includes a dashboard upper 37 which is provided in the dashboard lower, a windshield lower 38 which is provided in the dashboard upper and which bears windshield glass 59, and a damper housing support 39 which is erected on the dashboard upper and the windshield lower.
