<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of obtaining a flexible double-sided copper clad laminate having a high flexibility and a high folding-proof while assuring a high handleability in manufacturing. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a flexible double-sided copper clad laminate having a copper foil layer at both sides of a polyimide insulating layer is provided. The manufacturing method of the flexible double-sided copper clad laminate comprises a step of applying a polyimide precursor resin solution to a copper foil forming a first copper foil layer and having a thickness of≥9μm and≤35μm, of drying and curing to obtain one side copper clad laminate having the first copper foil layer on one side of the polyimide layer, and of supplying a copper foil forming a second copper foil layer and having a thickness of≥3μm and≤12μm to the polyimide layer side of the laminate to laminate continuously under heating and increased pressure and to increase more an equivalent flexural rigidity of the first copper foil layer than an equivalent flexural rigidity of the second copper foil. And the thickness of the polyimide insulating layer is to be≥7μm and≤50μm and at the same time, a tensile modulus of elasticity at 25°C is to be≥2 GPa and≤9 GPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
