<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of performing optimum printing on a plurality of kinds of printing media having different widths. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes a thermal head 13 having heating resistors arranged in a direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction of a printing medium, a platen roller 14 which is provided so as to face the thermal head 13 and to convey the printing medium, and a pressure contact member which applies a predetermined pressure to the thermal head 13 toward the platen roller 14. The pressure contact member is formed in a spiral shape and a pressure position can be moved by rotation of the pressure contact member in a direction parallel to the heating resistors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
