Abstract A privacy screen (10) comprising at least one pair of side rails (14a, 14b) and at least one connecting rail (16), the totality of the at least one connecting rail (14a, 14b) defining a first end (40) and a second end (42) each of the first end (40) and second end (42) being rotationally connected to one of the at least one pair of side rails (14a, 14b) and thereby define an interconnected length (L). A screen (18) is connected to the at least one pair of side rails (14a, 14b) and the at least one connecting rail (16) in a manner that allows the screen (18) to traverse along the interconnected length (L).
