The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing a visual ARS service, more particularly, to a system and a method for providing a visual ARS service to a communication terminal which receives an ARS service by combining an ARS system and a communication terminal. The system of the present invention comprises: a call processing server which is connected to the ARS system and communication terminal through a communication network to process a call for an ARS service in between the communication terminal and ARS system; and a screen control server which is connected to the communication terminal through a network, which is a data packet network different from the communication network above to transmit screen configuration information corresponding to the ARS service which is provided from the ARS system to the communication, wherein the communication terminal receives the screen configuration information from the screen control server through the network while receiving the ARS service from the ARS system through the communication network and displays a screen based on the received screen configuration information on a display unit.
