According to the present invention, a method for reducing the power consumption of a wireless terminal comprises: a step of estimating parameters related to the reduction of power consumed by the wireless terminal, if a triggering packet is received from the wireless terminal; a step of setting a clustering cycle in accordance with received conditions, wherein the conditions are determined based on the parameters and include information related to the amount of power reduction and time delays required for the power consumption; and a step of performing wireless communications with the wireless terminal based on the clustering cycle.
