The application service method, according to one embodiment of the present invention, is a method for servicing an application applied to a broadcast receiving apparatus and comprises the steps of: receiving log-in information according to a specific user account registered on the broadcast receiving apparatus; receiving user input for installing a specific application while logged-in with the specific user account; and installing the specific application by mapping on the specific user account that is logged-in.
