<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a storage capacity necessary to provide meta data of a file such as a content file.SOLUTION: A file transfer system comprises a relay server 30 which transfers at least a part of a file stored in a personal computer 12 to a smartphone 14 and a meta data server 20 which stores meta data of the file stored in the personal computer 12. The meta data server 20 comprises a meta data storage unit 22 which stores the meta data of the file stored in the personal computer 12 and an information providing unit 25 which provides the meta data stored in the meta data storage unit 22 to the smartphone 14. The relay server 30 acquires at least a part of a transfer request object file which is an object of a transfer request from the personal computer 12 and transfers it to the smartphone 14, in response to the transfer request of the file.</p> |
