<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fruit sorting system capable of performing the packing with a packing robot by aligning the directions of placing tables to a specific direction and by placing vegetables and fruits in the specific direction. <P>SOLUTION: A fruit sorting system 1 includes a main conveyer 2 for conveying a placing table 5 on which vegetables and fruits 6 are placed from an upstream side to a downstream side. The main conveyer 2 includes a placing step 11 of placing the vegetables and fruits 6 on the placing table 5 from the upstream side, quality measurement steps 12, 13, 14 of measuring the quality of the vegetables and fruits 6, and a packing step 15 of sorting the vegetables and fruits 6 for each class or rank and packing the vegetables and fruits on the basis of the measurement results of the quality measurement steps 12, 13, 14. An empty placing table return line 18 separate from the main conveyer 2 is provided between an upstream side of the main conveyer 2 and a terminal end of the packing step 15, and a placing table direction determination step 10 continuous to the terminal end of the empty placing table return line 18 is provided upstream of the placing step 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
