The present invention relates to a backup tool apparatus for bonding which uses a long type cartridge heater and a polyether ether ketone (PEEK) insulator instead of short type cartridge heaters and a ceramic insulator. The backup tool apparatus includes a cartridge heater; a heater block which comprises a heater hole formed to receive the cartridge heater, and a backup tool formed in an upper part to correspond to the formation direction of the heater hole; a thermocouple having a heater block to check the temperature of the heater block; a support part formed in a lower part to support the heater block; an insulator which is installed between the support part and the heater block and is transferred from the heater block to the support part; and a control part which controls a cartridge heater based on the signal of the thermocouple.
