<p>The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a crude extract or a fraction of Plantago asiatica as an active ingredient for preventing or treating hyperlipidemia and obesity. The crude drug extract of the present invention has an effect of inhibiting lipid differentiation of 3T3-L1 cells which are fat cells derived from a mouse and has effects on weight loss, body fat reduction, blood lipid level reduction, and histopathological effect for an obesity-induced, using a high hat diet, white rat, thereby can be used as a drug or dietary supplement for preventing or treating hyperlipidemia and obesity.</p> |
