<p>Disclosed is a stirrup coupled to multiple reinforcement members and surrounding the reinforcement members, wherein the reinforcement members are formed lengthily in a support main body in the length direction of the support main body. The carbon fiber-reinforced polymer stirrup according to the present invention is a closed-type stirrup has impregnated fiber filaments arranged on top of each other multiple times, wherein the fiber filaments arranged on top of each other have a rectangular cross-section overall. In addition, the carbon fiber-reinforced polymer stirrup according to the present invention is a closed-type stirrup with fiber-reinforced polymer wires having small diameters and spirally wound multiple times. According to the present invention, the carbon fiber-reinforced polymer stirrup is capable of minimizing a prior fracture on an edge part compared with an existing FRP stirrup with a circular cross-section. In addition, according to the present invention, the carbon fiber-reinforced polymer stirrup is capable of mitigating stress concentration on the edge part and the kinking of fibers. Furthermore, according to the present invention, the carbon fiber-reinforced polymer stirrup manufactured to be the closed-type stirrup is capable of efficiently resisting a tensile force due to shear compared with an existing opened-type stirrup, thereby minimizing material loss.</p> |
