The present invention relates to a harmful insect repeller, wherein people releases aromatic oil repellent to harmful insects while carrying the harmful insect repeller, thereby preventing the access of harmful insects including mosquitoes during outdoor activities. The harmful insect repeller comprises: a cartridge which has a porous portion and loads a capsule therein, the capsule containing oil for repelling harmful insects; a bracket which is detachably coupled with the cartridge by allowing the end of a needle portion provided above to be inserted or withdrawn through the bottom surface of the cartridge; and a body which has a shape of a band surrounding the wrist, ankle, or neck of a user and fixes a lower portion of the bracket. When coupling the cartridge and the bracket with each other, the end of the needle portion passes through the capsule to be opened, and the oil for repelling harmful insects flowing out due to the opening of the capsule is released through the porous portion of the cartridge. According to the present invention, the oil for repelling harmful insects is released outward from the body, thereby reducing an unpleasant feeling with respect to the contact region of the body, thus satisfying the liking of a user having sensitive skin or keen senses; the cartridge can be easily replaced and immediately used when the oil for repelling harmful insects is exhausted; and the band-shaped body and bracket can be continuously used, thereby reducing the waste. |
