<p>The present invention relates to an antibacterial composition containing a Fagopyrum tataricum extract against oral microorganisms. The Fagopyrum tataricum extract, which is an active ingredient of the antibacterial composition according to the present invention, has excellent antibacterial activity against oral microorganisms, particularly, Streptococcus spp., Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans, Prevotella intermedia, and Fusobacterium nucleatum subsp., and thus is expected to be favorably used as a oral hygiene promoting composition, pharmaceutical composition, and functional food composition for preventing or treating oral diseases related to the oral microorganisms, for example, bad breadth, plaque formation, tooth decay, periodontal disease, dental caries, and the like.</p> |
