The saw band (1) further includes a band back (4) opposing the sawteeth (3), and the band back (4) includes a band back profile portion (5). The band back profile portion (5) includes a rising region (6), a falling region (7), and a uniform region (8). The band back (4) is profiled such that a space between the band back (4) and the sawteeth (3) increase in a direction from the rising region (6) to an end (9) of the rising region (6). The band back (4) is profiled such that a space between the band back (4) and the sawteeth (3) decreases in a direction from the falling region (7) to an end (10) of the falling region (7). The band back (4) is linearly formed in the uniform region (8), rather than being profiled such that a space between the band back (4) and the sawteeth (3) is uniform. |
