PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desalination system which has good responsibility to the water quality fluctuation of water to be treated, and can suppress biofouling generation to enable stable operation.SOLUTION: A desalination system 100 includes: a biological treatment device 14 into which water to be treated injected with a flocculant flows and which retains microorganisms assimilating organic substances in the water to be treated; a pretreatment part comprising a filter 16 removing contaminants from the water to be treated flowing in from the biological treatment device 14; a reverse osmosis membrane module 18 which separates the water to be treated flowing out from the filter 16 into salt-removed permeated water 6 and salt-thickened concentrated water 7; a pressure gauge 15 which measures the pressure of the water to be treated flowing into the filter 16; and a control device 8 which controls the pretreatment part on the basis of the pressure of the water to be treated flowing into the filter 16, measured by the pressure gauge 15. |
