ESTIMATION METHOD, ESTIMATION DEVICE, AND ESTIMATION PROGRAM FOR SENSOR TERMINAL POSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the position of a sensor terminal configuring a wireless sensor network with high accuracy by using a simple device configuration.SOLUTION: A method for estimating a sensor terminal position includes the steps in which: counter values of a known terminal 2 and an unknown terminal 3 are reset (S1); a sound wave is emitted at the position of the unknown terminal 3 (S5); counter values at sound wave input time are transmitted from the terminals 2 and 3 (S6); a plurality of counter values are transmitted from the terminals 2 and 3 at prescribed time intervals t (S7-S10); a counter error is calculated for each of the terminals 2 and 3 (S11); each of the counter values of the terminals 2 and 3 at the sound wave input time is corrected by the counter error (S12); distance L between the known terminal 2 and the unknown terminal 3 is calculated (S13); and the position of the unknown terminal 3 is estimated using the distance L between a plurality of known terminals 2 and unknown terminals 3 (S14).
