<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a phosphor of silicon oxynitride by using a highly reactive starting material at low temperature and efficiently, and a phosphor having a good fluorescence property by the method of manufacturing.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a red silicon oxynitride phosphor represented by the formula (LMMMN)(MNO), where Mis a tetravalent metal element containing a silicon atom, 0<a≤0.1, 0≤b, 0<c<0.375, 0.002≤(3b+2)c/4≤0.9, including burning a mixture of a raw material mixture containing at least L, Mand M, where L is a rare earth element or Mn, Mis an alkali earth metal and Mis a trivalent metal element, and if needed M, where Mis tetravalent metal element, and silicon oxide represented by SiO, where x is 0.8<x<1.2.</p> |
