PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a gate signal generator which generates gate signals to be supplied to a driver for driving a motor by on/off control of a gate.SOLUTION: A controller includes: a step in which, when it is assumed that the voltage is applied to a motor in each of a plurality of candidate voltage patterns via the gate in the next control cycle of the motor in the calculation cycle of one period preceding each control cycle of the motor the optimal pattern out of their candidate voltage patterns is searched as the optimal voltage pattern; and a step for determining a time command value so as to reflect the searched optimal voltage pattern and outputting the time command value to a gate signal generator. In the time command value, the time command value is provided which has at least an absolute value out of a code indicating the direction in which the gate is switched between an off-state and an on-state and the absolute value indicating timing to perform the switching. |
