<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of precisely detecting an action state of a user even when an inexpensive infrared sensor is used.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes a human body detection part 4 which detects the movement of a human body, and an action amount arithmetic part 46 which calculates an action amount from information detected by the human body detection part 4. An area detected by the human body detection part 4 is sectioned into a plurality of human position determination areas that the human body detection part 4 detects, action amounts for each human position determination area are calculated according to the number of times of detection by the human body detection part 4 within a predetermined time, and a maximum value among the action amounts for each human position determination area is calculated as an action amount of all the area detected by the human body detection part 4.</p> |
