<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiked cage capable of making an operation more stable by preventing a projection portion of a screw from being generated, by minimizing interference with vascularized and nervous tissues passing though a vertebra or cervical vertebra in a therapy using the cage and by comparatively easily and simply performing a therapy for fixing the cage.SOLUTION: A spiked cage relating to the invention is fitted between vertebral bodies in a cervical spine or spinal column when treating an intervertebral disc disease, intervertebral disc prolapse, myelopathy and fraction that occur in a cervical spine or spinal column. More specifically, an upper spike and a lower spike that are attached to a clip entering a body of the cage are respectively expanded at upper and lower parts of the body. Since the expanded upper and lower spikes are engaged with the vertebral bodies in the cervical spine or spinal column that are positioned above and below the cage, the cage is fixed between the vertebral bodies and then is locked.</p> |
