<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic light to allow many persons to instantaneously and intuitively recognize at a single glance that the intersection is an intersection of the pedestrian/vehicle separation type and instantaneously visually recognize it as the traffic light of the pedestrian/vehicle separation type, and to achieve suspension of traffic accidents and further improvement of safety in the intersection of the pedestrian/vehicle separation type.SOLUTION: A traffic light 4 installed in an intersection of a pedestrian/vehicle separation type using a lamp having a shape enabling recognizing colors of respective lamps 1 to 3 of a lamp portion of a pedestrian/vehicle separation type traffic light as a shape of a vehicle, allows pedestrians in the intersection to instantaneously recognize that the traffic light is a traffic light for vehicles, and allows the pedestrians including children in a low age group, drivers of vehicles, persons who pass through the intersection for the first time, vehicles approaching the intersection from a far, and pedestrians and vehicles running at high speed at night to instantaneously and intuitively recognize at a single glance that the intersection is an intersection of the pedestrian/vehicle separation type and the traffic light of the intersection is a traffic light of the pedestrian/vehicle separation type.</p> |
