PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes dryer capable of preventing flowing out of dehumidification water and washing water of a heat pump device onto a floor surface outside the machine.SOLUTION: A heat pump device 13 includes: dehumidification means 20 provided in a housing 17 and dehumidifying drying air; heating means 21 for heating the drying air; a suction air passage 26 for introducing outside air; exhaust air passage 28 for exhausting a part of the drying air to the outside of a body 1; water washing means 34 for supplying washing water for washing down lint attached to a surface of the dehumidification means 20; and a water discharge path 37 for draining the dehumidification water generating when dehumidification is performed by the dehumidification means 20, and the washing water from the water washing means 34. The clothes dryer is configured in such a manner that, at the housing 17, a circulation air passage inlet 14 where the drying air flows from a first circulation air passage 12 is provided, and an exhaust air passage inlet 29 is located further upward than a lower end part of the circulation air passage inlet 14. Thus, flowing out of the dehumidification water and the washing water onto the floor surface outside the machine can be prevented. |
