PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that flexibly controls a polling cycle for load reduction purposes because loads of networks and constituent devices are added as information processing devices connected to peripheral devices increase.SOLUTION: A communication system includes: a peripheral device; and an information processing device. The communication system comprises change means for corresponding to the number of the information processing devices to change an interval of polling to be performed to th peripheral device by the information processing device, and the communication system further comprises response means for, when the number of the information processing devices polling an inquiry content of the same category to be managed by management means is plural, transmitting a response packet corresponding to the polling of the inquiry content to one of the plurality of information processing devices. |
