<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for collecting information efficiently in a timely manner in a plurality of Web site information analysis devices differing in updating frequency.SOLUTION: A Web site information analysis device comprises: means for collecting, on the basis of an examination content table in which a keyword to be examined, a type of Web site to be examined, and an examination interval are stored and the type of Web site and the examination interval stored in the examination content table, information about a Web site corresponding to the type at the examination interval; means for examining the number of occurrences of the keyword from the information about the Web site obtained by one collection; means for determining whether the number of occurrences of the keyword has increased or decreased by or more than a certain number by comparing the number of occurrences of the keyword that was examined in latest two collections; and means for adjusting the examination interval stored in the examination content table so that the examination interval is reduced when the number of occurrences of the keyword is increased to or above the certain number and extended when the number of occurrences of the keyword is decreased to or below the certain number.</p> |
