<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure which reduces impact during a collision from a predetermined direction efficiently.SOLUTION: In a support structure used for a sand arrestation dam, a landslide suppression pile, a protective fence for a vehicle, and the like, a support pillar is configured by a protection plate for protecting intrusion or collision from a predetermined direction and a vertical plate installed so as to be unified with the protection plate and so as to have a T-shaped horizontal cross section. The vertical plate has a plurality of through-holes drilled at predetermined intervals, arrangement, or combination thereof. The support pillar is constructed by using concrete so as to include at least the through-holes, and insertion members are inserted into the through-holes. The support pillar can efficiently reduce impact of collision received from a predetermined direction by making not only the concrete but also the insertion members take charge of stress.</p> |
