Biological Purification Apparatus for Radioactive―iodide containing Wastewater

The present invention relates to a radioactive waste water purifying apparatus, which purifies waste water with radioactive iodine and comprises an anoxic reactor in which waste water with radioactive iodine flows; and a microorganism purifying reactor which is mutually connected to the anoxic reactor to receive waste water in an anaerobic state and supplied metal-reducing bacterial source, electron donors and copper ion sources wherein the metal-reducing bacteria enables the radioactive iodine to bound to the copper ion and to be settled as the copper iodide in the microorganism purifying reactor, thereby removing radioactive iodine included in waste water as a sludge type.
