The invention consists of a robot for cleaning submerged surfaces, both curved and flat and with any orientation. In addition, the robot can clear any obstacles located on the surfaces and can move to surfaces in different planes. The system is characterised in that it comprises two identical modules which are formed by a suction chamber and a casing that can rotate in relation to one another and which are joined by means of an arm allowing relative movements therebetween.
