PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize an area originally not used for projection when projecting an image on a screen of an indefinite shape, to further improve appeal as an electronic signboard.SOLUTION: A projection device includes: projection systems 21-26 for projecting images; an imaging unit IM for acquiring a screen shape to which the projection systems 21-26 project the images; and a CPU 32 for allowing the projection systems 21-26 to project a first image using a part of projectable areas according to the screen shape acquired by the imaging unit IM, to determine whether or not a projection object exists outside the screen area, and according to the determination result, allowing the projection systems 21-26 to project a second image to the projection object outside the screen area. |
