PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient monitoring system which can transmit information on conditions and status of a patient directly and visually.SOLUTION: A patient monitoring system has: a plurality of cameras which capture images of a patient; a display processing device 120 which receives the images captured by the plurality of cameras through a network line 160 to process the received images; a display 110 which collectively displays the images captured by the plurality of cameras processed by the display processing device; and an operation instruction device 130 which gives an instruction of an image display state to be displayed on a display unit to the display processing device. The operation instruction device 130 selects a camera image which is to be displayed on the display unit from the images captured by the plurality of cameras and the display position and transmits them to the display processing device 120 as display instruction signals.
