PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a prescribed image to be printed at an edge face of a bookbound object without requiring a special printing machine.SOLUTION: An information processing device according to the present invention comprises a designation unit, a generation unit, a drawing unit, a specification unit, an addition unit, and an output unit. The designation unit designates an edge face of a bookbound object. The generation unit generates, in accordance with a bookbinding condition, a bitmap corresponding to the edge face designated by the designation unit. The drawing unit draws a first image on the bitmap. The specification unit specifies line data corresponding to an object page from among a plurality of line data corresponding one-to-one to a plurality of dots, out of the bitmap, constituting a first side parallel to a paper thickness direction of paper, each of the line data extending in parallel with a second side orthogonal to the first side. The addition unit adds a second image to a portion, corresponding to the dots of the first image, of a third side of the object page corresponding to the line data specified by the specification unit. The output unit outputs, to a printing device, a print job including the object page to which the second image was added. |
