PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of smoothing a motion of a connection rod to a piston.SOLUTION: An engine includes a piston 64 disposed in a cylinder, a crank shaft, a connection rod 72, an oil dipper disposed on a large end portion of the connection rod 72, a piston pin 118 connecting pin boss portions 98a, 98b of the piston 64 and a small end portion 108 of the connection rod 72, and a crank case 62. The piston pin 118 is disposed movably to the pin boss portions 98a, 98b and the connection rod 72. A first opposite portion 122 at a tip portion side of the connection rod 72 and a second opposite portion 124 at the large end portion side of the connection rod 72 are formed as opposite portions of the small end portion 108 and the piston pin 118, and both ends 122a, 122b of the first opposite portion 122 are positioned at an inner part in the axial direction C of the piston pin 118, with respect to both ends 124a, 124b of the second opposite portion 124. |
