<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subject information acquisition device capable of applying temperature distributions different for individual positions, to a subject.SOLUTION: A subject information acquisition device comprises: a light irradiation part 102 for irradiating a subject with light; an acoustic wave acquisition part 105 for receiving the acoustic wave having occurred in the subject due to the light; a temperature control part 108 for adjusting the temperature of a first part lying on a passage, through which the light propagates in the subject, to a first temperature, and for adjusting the temperature of a second part lying on a passage, on which the acoustic wave occurs in the subject, to a second temperature; and a reconstruction part 109 for acquiring information relating to optical characteristics in the subject, on the basis the sound waves which are acquired through the acoustic wave acquisition part.</p> |
