PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that can smoothly move developer from a lower storage chamber to an upper storage chamber, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A partition wall 42 partitioning upper and lower two-stage storage chambers has a first hole 45 and a second hold 46 formed therein, which communicate an upper first storage chamber 43 and a lower second storage chamber 44 located at positions separated in the longitudinal direction. A developer inside the second storage chamber 44 is pushed up toward the first hole 45 by a conveyance force of a second screw feeder 48. A developing magnetic roller 49 includes a pump-up pole 63 having a magnetic pole directed to the first hole 45. |
