PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life lithium ion battery.SOLUTION: A lithium ion battery is related to a gel polymer lithium ion battery including: a gel polymer electrolyte containing lithium salt, nonaqueous solvent, and a polymer's monomer; a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and a separator intervening between the positive and negative electrodes. The polymer's monomer contains at least one kind of epoxy monomer containing an epoxy group and a double bond, and at least one kind of acrylate monomer. A negative electrode binding agent contains a polymer containing an amino group or an imino group at a main chain or a branch chain. Compared with the conventional art, in this invention, by installing an epoxy compound as the monomer and employing a polymer containing the amino group or the imino group as the negative electrode binding agent, the epoxy group and the amino group or the imino group are made react to form a bridge network and to closely couple between the gel polymer electrolyte and the negative electrode. |
